Gerhard Glück (born in Bad Vilbel in 1944) grew up in Frankfurt, worked as an art teacher for many years and now lives in Kassel. His illustrations have been published in national and international magazines since 1972 and he illustrates works by various authors such as Christian Morgenstern and Heinz Erhardt. He has received several awards, including the Gold Medal of the Art Director Club Germany and the German caricature award (Deutscher Karikaturenpreis) as well as the Göttinger ELCH for his life's work. Glück is known as one of the most important artists of the comical art.
